A good value for your money considering its price, versatility, and functionality. Even with its not so exotic appearance, the kit can very well create adequate storage space for an average-sized wardrobe.

Cons
Despite the rigid frame of this kit, it tends to sag especially when we placed a filled suitcase on the shelf. Being so, this kit would be suitable for small to medium types of loads. Furthermore, this kit would be better off had other types of bolts designed for different types of walls. Pins and anchors that come with the package are not designed for much heavier loads. To get the most out of this closet organizer kit, one has to purchase different types of bolts or screws.

This is a simple yet very highly functional install-it-yourself closet organizer kit capable of giving a mediocre-sized closet a good amount of storage space. If you are thinking that this kit seems to be fragile that it seems that it couldn’t handle much weight then you will be proven wrong. Once the kit has been fully installed, you will be surprised at how stable and sturdy the entire assembly is. However though, one must not compare this kit to aesthetic and elegant looking high-end closet organizers (i.e., California Closets or Elfa Closets). It would be akin to comparing apples to oranges.

Who Should Buy It

Though this kit could already provide a good amount of closet storage space for hanging clothes, shirts, shoes, bags, and other accessories, it is only fit for an individual having a moderate amount of clothing and accessories. With that being said, if you are an individual who likes to have everything in the fashion world then this kit won’t be for you.

Pros

The Closetmaid 180700 is a very good buy considering its price and what you get for your money. In our opinion, it has literally negated the notion ‘you get what you pay for’, well at least, for this time.

Cons

Installation and assembly did not quite live up to our expectations considering the amount of time it took us to get everything up. All in all, it took us around 2.5 hours to get the kit up inside our closet. Some components did not line up perfectly with each other and we have to do some little drilling to achieve a good alignment. Furthermore, the wire mesh of the shelf units seemed to be farther apart than we have expected.
